Happy Birthday to Eric!

My favorite husband had another birthday!

 I really like that guy! ;) 

It was very low key this year. 

The kids and I got Eric an assortment 

of silly gifts from Dollar Tree. 

Eric modeled one of his favorite gifts for us...

Last year I made Eric a chess cake complete with edible chocolate pieces. I wanted to keep with a gaming theme so I went for chinese checkers this year!! It was super simple, but really fun to make, play, and eat!

Trick or Treat, Smell My Feet!

Our werewolf didn't approve of my makeup job from yesterday. He made me just do his whole face brown. At first I was disappointed, but after we got rained on and it smeared I decided Evan was right! He was happy with his candy stash!

Halloween 2013

Kindergarten Party! 

Thanks to my dear friend Sari (who watched Logan and Trick) I got to go help Reid's class for their Halloween activities and party!

Trunk or Treat at Church

 Our Sam took Robot Power Ranger and Fix It Felix around to all the cars. They had so much fun!

The whole fam! I went as Taffyta from Wreck it Ralph! We wanted to do the whole family in Wreck it Ralph, but the three boys couldn't be persuaded. That's okay though. I felt very safe with my little power rangers and my big werewolf! 

Hernia Schmernia!

My poor Reid had to have surgery for  his umbilical hernia! He was pretty nervous when he first found out, but by the time we got to the hospital the morning of he was his usual silly self!

 We had to wait a LONG time...

 Since we don't have Disney Channel or Nickelodeon at home Reid was in TV heaven! 

 Prepped and ready to go! 

 Since he had to wait an extra hour one of the nurses brought him a present! He had as much fun looking at the box as he did playing with the characters. Such an imagination! 

 No pictures of us waiting! I swear that was such a long hour! Just one hour, but it felt like forever. 

Here is Reid after he woke up and had recovered a little! Surgery might be worth it for all the Popsicle's! 

He was such a little tough guy! He stayed quiet for a day or two and then went back to life with his usual zeal! One week later he's ready to go back to gym, ride his bike, and eat all his Halloween candy! 

Speedy Reidy turns 6

 What an amazing guy! Smart and handsome. We had to spoil him! 

Reid wanted a dog in a cage... (luckily he decided this was just as good as the real thing)

Kindle Fire... Eric loaded all his favorite apps. 

Reid's cake was made exactly to his specifications. 

A chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, sprinkles, and candy! 

We all love Reid!
