Thanksgiving

Happy kids playing before dinner...
Sweet Sophia.
Thanksgiving was so great this year. We got together with the Anderson's and the Kennards. The food was exceptional as was the company.
The kids table
After everyone else was done Evan was still eating turkey! He just LOVES turkey!
My sleepy boys...
This year we are thankful for good friends and family. It hasn't been the easiest year, but we are grateful for our trials and all the blessings that have come our way. We are grateful for food to eat, clothes to wear, a place to live, and a family to love. Can we really ask for anything more?

Long Ago...

Long ago girls wore flower print dresses and aprons. They also wore bonnets or hats, but I only had time to make the dress and apron.

Here is Lorelai in her dress for "long ago day" at school. She looks just as cute back then as she does now. :)

The most awesome thing about the whole outfit? It didn't cost me anything! I had the fabric, elastic, and pattern already!

Trick or Treat!

I swore I would have all my Halloween pictures posted before Thanksgiving and I JUST barely made it! My poor blog. I promise to post more current things very soon, but the kids were just so cute I HAD to blog about it. I put Reid and Logan in some warmer costumes because it was a tiny bit chilly. This was the best picture I got of the four of them. They were all happy and so excited to get more candy!
We went over to the Anderson's neighborhood Saturday night and had so much fun!
We had some brains for dinner...
And then headed out with a whole crew!
Logan was in the stroller a lot, but I let him out to knock on a few doors. It was so cute! He loved it and didn't want to give up his bag of goodies for anything!
Leila and Reid being sweet.
Craziness back at the Anderson's.
My little witch snacking on a finger! Yum!
Some of our favorite friends, the Reeders.
Leila had to nest on her candy to protect it from Reid. :)
Happy boys.
It was a great night! We're so blessed to have such awesome friends to have fun with!

School Halloween Parties

I got to go to Lorelai's party! I set Reid up with some extra paper and crayon's. I think this picture is a good indicator of his future in school.

Lorelai's hat was just a little too big.
Lorelai's spider and treats.
Reid joined in and made one too!
Logan was a happy boy in the stroller! He got some pretzels and a few Skittles and he was good to go.
Here's one of the whole adorable class.
Here is Evan at his class party! All the first graders participated in a costume parade so he got to wear his costume all day.
Evan's awesome teacher took these pictures and sent them to me.
The whole class.
After the kids came home they went through their goody bags. We had happy campers all around.

Trunk or Treat!

Trunk or Treat was so fun this year. Lorelai and a few of her bf's all showed up in black. Not planned, but super cute!Reid is so southern. He drinks his cornbread out of a glass.
The whole group. Not super organized, but everyone looked awesome. Everyone was creative and that always makes it more fun!
My not so great attempt at a family shot. Eric was already outside and Reid was not interested in posing when he could be outside getting candy!
Eric had a line as usual.
Eric was much happier than he looked in this shot. A woman that came was actually so impressed that she booked him for her son's birthday party!
Batman and Sandra Dee.
I took some pictures of my primary kids too! They were just too cute!

Hannah and Savannah. Those are some cute chicks :)
This is Mark's candy face.
Leila the butterfly loved her giraffe.
Esther was a beautiful princess who loved her purple kitty.
There's no stopping my Robin now that he has a sword.
My munchkins all sat on the curb and started eating as soon as they got finished walking around. They needed something to do while Daddy finished making balloons. :) Pete was making faces in the background.
I saved the best for last! This was after ONE little kit kat.
All in all it was an awesome night! Everyone had a great time!

Who needs sleep?

I just love taking pictures of my sleeping babies. They are so peaceful. I thought I would go ahead a share since I'm getting quite the collection. :)

I have super sleepers!I think the other kids must have been making too much noise.
Reid didn't make it through dinner.
Sometimes it's contagious.
Good job Grandpa.

My big 7 year old

My handsome boy is SEVEN! I have a whole year to rhyme about Evan from heaven being seven! :)
So, what about my little angel? Evan has a wonderful innocence about him. He is so smart and is constantly doing things that leave me stunned. He is in the top reading group at school, and rarely comes home with less than 100% on his papers. Evan loves his teacher and she has really been fantastic for him. His first report card was perfect! Here is some of the work that Evan is particularly proud of.

Evan has also been getting better and better at tae kwon do. He is now a green belt and will begin sparing at the end of this month. It is so cool to see him shouting out answers and learning new things. He loves to show everyone his double knife hand and various other cool things.

Here are a few of my favorite pics of my little angel. I don't know what I'd do without him.
My handsome boy with my handsome baby. He's such a good brother!
So brave.
Geronimo!
