Pinewood Derby

Grandpa got to come out for a little spring break "vacation".  Part of dad's vacation included helping us get ready for the Pinewood Derby! The boys worked so hard on their cars! It was awesome!

Eric helped make the decorations too!
I think they looked great and hopefully everyone had a great time!

I worked hard on my cars too! They weren't very fast, but I think they looked pretty good!

A few more friendly faces!

Candy and Ashley had fun!

Ready, set, go! Eric and Dad had a good system going!
It was a good thing too because 38 cars entered the race!!

This is what I got to see while trying to announce winners! Poor Patrick!
So many people and so little attention from his mommy!

See that dazed look on Evan's face?! I think we were all so tired!!
Evan was so happy that he won first place among the Cub Scouts!

Posing with the Derby expert... Grandpa's vintage derby car placed first overall!

All 5 kids with all 5 cars. I think it was a little nuts that we ended up doing 5, but there you go! They all had a unique personality to match my creative kiddos (and hubby)!
P.S. Don't you love Patrick's adorable outfit? I am so glad Grandma Tucker got it for him!

Logan really wanted you all to get a good side view of his car.

Reid slept with his car, but here's a close up of the others. I know it's probably silly, but they worked so hard! I need them to be immortalized somehow! From left to right we have Evan's "Dark Falcon", Logan's "Happy Driver", Eric's "Orange Faucet", and Lorelai's "Unicorn".

It was an epic year for the Derby cars! I don't know if we'll ever be able to top it! I know it wouldn't have been possible without Grandpa to help along the way!

Airwalk

Do you ever dream of a magical place where everything is soft and bouncy?

Welcome to Airwalk

A magical land of bouncing fun!

Grandma took us for family night!
Logan was very brave!

I'm so sad I didn't get a good shot of him in mid air! He seriously loved every minute of it!

Eric wore himself out playing trampoline dodge ball.

Evan stayed in the dodge ball den the whole time so I didn't get a good photo of him. Reid and Patrick spent most of the time jumping into the foam pit. We had a terrible time keeping Patrick back long enough for someone else to have a turn, but we all had a great time! I'm sure we'll be going back just as soon as our budget permits!
