About 6 months ago our oven stopped working correctly. After much poking and prodding and advice from people who actually know something about ovens we decided to buy a new part for the oven in the hopes that that would fix the problem. $60.00 later our oven was still fickle, but functional. We have used it minimally since then, but it finally gave out. The broiler stopped working and we could only get it to heat to two temperatures, 250 and 550. Since there isn't much you can bake at those temps we figured it was finally time.

Eric and President Bennett had to do a little construction so the new oven would fit. They did a fantastic job, but my poor old oven looks sadder then ever.

Ooh! Pretty! Congrats! Isn't it odd the things we get excited about now that we're adults! Kinda funny. Happy baking!
Ooh we have that oven (the new one) It took me a while to get used to how the eyes stay hot for so long, but we were converting from years of having a gas stove to the electric when we moved. Congrats on the new appliance...whatcha gonna cook first?
Yeah! I don't know how you've survived so long with a broken oven. Your new one looks nice, you'll like the smooth top, it's much easier to clean. Rolls, cookies, etc, bring it on!
WOW, that is awesome!! I bet you love it!! I am jealous, I want a new one now.
Brownies were the first thing to go in the oven. Eric requested them and since he's the one that hooked it up he got to choose.
A new toy!!! Risa is right... we're all crazy as adults.
Oh you so deserve that oven. You did all you could for the last one but 550 is a little hight to bake anything on except new york pizza.
Congrats on your newest beauty!
